ERP Introduction & Change Management
The requirements for an ERP system are demanding and extensive. Availability, ease of use and adaptability to local operations were the core requirements for the selection of such a system. Prior to the selection, Dreher Consulting was commissioned with process optimisation of company systems . The end result was a lean, efficient organisational structure that was the pre-requisite for a process landscape that actively supported the company's growth within the supply chain management framework. After implementation of an industry solution package, Dreher Consulting was re-commissioned to optimise the process flows within the ERP solution to accelerate the order taking process.
ERP Implementation Leading to Acceleration of Order Output
After the successful completion of this project, an acceleration of 35% in order output was achieved whilst processes were streamlined. In the meantime, Dreher Consulting was again commissioned to develop, accompany and implement a complete IT strategy for FALKE.
Overview
FALKE was founded as early as 1895 by Franz Falke-Rohen in Schmallenberg in the Sauerland region. In 1918, a wool and hair yarn spinning mill was bought and in 1920, the company founded its own factory in Schmallenberg, which is still the company's headquarters today. Uncompromising demands on the quality of their products have made FALKE one of the leading hosiery, sports and fashion companies today. FALKE employs a total of over 3000 people in Germany and abroad. Almost half of the company's turnover comes from exports.
